Global Outreach

As the church, we’re the guardians of God’s truth in this world; therefore, we must extend ourselves beyond the walls of our church in order to communicate and demonstrate God’s truth to the world. We believe that this involves both a local and a global effort in order to be obedient to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8). Global Outreach involves our responsibility to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the “uttermost parts of the earth.” As such, we support full-time missionaries through prayer and finances, and we get involved ourselves through short-term teams that seek to come alongside our full-term missionaries and assist them in carrying out the Great Commission in their corner of the world.

Missions

Full-Term Missions

We support missionaries who are doctrinally like-minded in the primary goals of planting new churches and the strengthening of existing churches through the training of pastors and church leaders for effective and biblical church ministry. We consider our missionaries to be an extension of our church; therefore, we try to stay involved with them regularly, and we keep them at the forefront of the church weekly through prayer and the communication of specific needs.

Short-Term Missions

We believe that part of supporting our full-term missionaries involves learning first-hand about their ministries and joining them, as we can, to support what they are doing. This involves short-term missions trips. In addition, we believe that there’s a dual benefit to our church as our people see outside of themselves and our country, and we’re challenged to consider what more we can do to serve our missionaries and Christ’s global church.
